Group/Individual Therapy

Group therapy is an integral part of the school experience for all students. Throughout the school week, Licensed Clinical Social Workers/Licensed Professional Counselors facilitate group therapy. At the primary and intermediate levels, group therapy is provided at the student’s developmental level and may include play therapy, therapeutic games, and artwork, as well as talking therapy. At the middle school, junior high and high school levels, students experience group therapy in an intensive interactive format. Classroom counselors provide evidence based social skills groups two times weekly. In addition, students have the opportunity to participate in specialized groups throughout the academic year.

When students are unable to partake in group therapy, they will receive individual therapy instead. Any child who could benefit from individual therapy receives these services as well. Master’s level and Doctoral level faculty are utilized to provide individual therapy.
